Consistency is key when it comes to Cloud9, who have kept the same roster since acquiring The Muffin Men way back in July 2017. This trio of Rocket League veterans have developed a fantastic synergy on the field and are the reigning RLCS World Champions after taking down Dignitas in the Season 6 World Championship in November.
Kyle “Torment” Storer started competing at the highest level at only 15 years old and has collected an impressive number of top-three placements since early 2016.
Mariano “SquishyMuffinz” Arruda shares in those successes with a DreamHack Championship, one NA RLCS Regional Championship from Season 4, and their most recent Season 6 World Championship conquest under his belt.
Jesus “Gimmick” Parra joined up with his teammates in April 2017 and has been there for every trophy ceremony since!
Their most recent tournament appearance resulted in a second place finish at ELEAGUE Cup: Rocket League 2018, falling to We Dem Girlz (now the current TSM roster) in the Finals. Now they’re looking for redemption and another Championship to add to the list.
You can see Cloud9 compete in WSOE 4: The Rocket League Showdown on January 26 and 27, starting at 9:30 a.m. Pacific!
